On December 6th, during his visit to St. Nicholas in Mogadore, OH, Bishop Paul presented the St. John of Chicago Award (a jeweled cross with an icon of St. John in the middle) to the Archpriest John Mason honoring his exemplary 67 years of priestly service in the OCA and as the priest who was instrumental in the building of the current temple in Mogadore. “Axios!” Fr. John.

On December 8th, during his visit to St. Mary’s Cathedral in Minneapolis, Bishop Paul tonsured Andrew Claypool a reader who will serve at All Saints of North America Chapel in Bemidji, Minnesota. “Many Years!” To the Reader Andrew! On December 9th, Bishop Paul presented the St. John of Chicago Award to the Archpriest Vladimir Lecko honoring his exemplary service in the OCA, particularly in Madison, IL at the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, and at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Minneapolis. “Axios!” Fr. Vladimir.

The policy document on the Proportional giving is now on the Diocesan Web Page as of December 1st (/downloads.html ). Rectors and Priests-in-Charge of parishes also received the policy via email.
