Ohio OCFs to host Orthodox missionary to Albania

WonderOhio OCFs to host Orthodox missionary to AlbaniaOBERLIN, OH [MW Diocese Communications] — Nathan Hoppe, long-term Orthodox Christian missionary in Albania, will deliver a presentation titled “Rethinking Mission: The Call to Conversion in the Context of Diversity and Tolerance” at Wilder Hall, Room 101, on the campus of Oberlin College here on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 7:00 p.m.  The presentation is being sponsored by the Oberlin College Orthodox Christian Fellowship.

The following afternoon — Saturday, May 10 — he will speak on “The Resurrection of the Orthodox Church of Albania after Centuries of Muslim and Atheist Persecution” at Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, 2238 East 32 Street, Lorain, OH at 2:30 p.m.  Vespers will follow at 4:00 p.m.  Archpriest Basil Stoyka is the host pastor.

Both presentations are free of charge and open to the public.
