Chicago area Pan-Orthodox Vespers to be celebrated March 9CHICAGO, IL [MW Diocese Communications] — His Grace, Bishop Anthony of the Diocese of Toledo and the Midwest of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America will be the guest homilist at the celebration of Pan-Orthodox Vespers on Sunday, March 9, 2014, marking the “Triumph of Orthodoxy” — the first Sunday of Great Lent.

Sponsored by the Orthodox Christian Clergy Association of Greater Chicago, will be held at Saint John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 2350 West Dempster Street, Des Plaines, IL.

Liturgical responses will be chanted by the Pan-Orthodox Choir of Greater Chicago, under the direction of Gordana Trbuhovich.
