Bishop Matthias to visit Chesterton, IN mission

CHESTERTON, IN [MW Diocese Communications] — His Grace, Bishop Matthias will celebrate the Divine Liturgy at Saint Elizabeth the New Martyr Church, Chesterton, IN, Sunday, June 19, 2011 at 9:30 a.m.

During the Divine Liturgy, Bishop Matthias will ordain Deacon Joshua Lollar to the holy priesthood.

All are invited to a complimentary dinner following the Liturgy.

Deacon Joshua has been attached to Saint Elizabeth’s for five years while completing his doctorate in theology at the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, IN. After his ordination he will be assigned to Saint Nicholas of Myra Church, Lawrence, KS. He and his wife Kristy hail from Wichita, KS, and have four children — Elizabeth, Justus, Constance, and Solomon.
