MINNEAPOLIS, MN [MW Communications] - On Sunday, January 10, the 11th annual
Minneapolis Deanery fund-raising dinner in support of diocesan
seminarians took place in Northeast Minneapolis. Over 60 of the
faithful gathered at the Erte Resaurant for a dinner that also served
as a memorial meal honoring our beloved Archbishop Job.

Polly Walker spoke about the history of these meals, Vladyka's commitment to his
seminarians, and also presented a moving slide show of his recent
summer trip to Slovakia. His Grace, Bishop Tikhon of Philadelphia and
Eastern Pennsylvania spoke about the work of our seminaries and the
lives of our seminarians. We sang Memory Eternal and shared
reminiscences concerning the Archbishop.

In the past decade, these dinners have raised over $30,000 in support of diocesan seminarians.
